| Abstract | The process of political participation and social inclusion of the black population over the past few years, the constitution and trajectory of the black movement, as well as the contexts in which it belongs are fundamental to understand the direction of public policies for the black population Brazil. The XXI century reveals a unique moment concerning racial-ethnic relations in the country, marked by the execution of affirmative action policies for African descent in various sectors of society. The historical, political and social aspects related to the organization of black movements are likely to further consideration in a context where the increasing interconnection of the segment with the construction of specific actions is essential to overcome the framework of socio-racial inequalities in the country. |
