Abstract	The present article identifies the social responsibility focused on the concept of sustainable development. The objective proposed was to analyze the standpoint of O Boticario Company concerning sustainable development and stressing the social and environmental responsibility as well as the impact of its actions towards society. The technical procedure of this work is qualified as a case study at a qualitative approach. The instrument of data gathering was an individual interview with 6 managers of the organization. The significance of this research lies in the depicting of a subject which is of vital importance to the future of mankind, which has been threatened by man's reckless actions.
