| Abstract | The search for a perfect body or for better health and therefore for a better quality of life, has led the search for food supplementation, and the whey protein, "Whey Protein", one of the most popular features. On the other hand, studies which have investigated the protein content of the supplements is still too scarce. Given the above, the objective of this study was to assess and compare the protein content between the values reported by the manufacturer and quantified. Therefore, six brands of whey protein, which are apparently the most used, named as sample A, B, C, D, E and F were analyzed. Quantification of protein content was carried out by the Kjeldahl method.
