| Abstract | I think for one thing it will indicate the great variety of experience[s] that our classmates and others at Rutgers had in World War II . . . When we chat with one another and tell war stories . . . that's just among the very few. But I think people will learn that our experiences were all over the world and covered a great range. The other thing that I hope will come out will be how people perceived that experience and what it did to them, what they learned from it. We all came from different backgrounds, and we came to Rutgers and we went in the service and it will be interesting to see how our backgrounds affected what happened to us. |
