Abstract	Anemia is a worldwide endemic, being more prevalent in developing countries. Mainly affects children under 2 years, especially in the 2nd half of life when you start to supplementary feeding. Can cause numerous consequences, not only in childhood but also in adulthood. Anemia is easily preventable and this project aims to deploy a anemia prophylaxis protocol in PSF do Centro de Ponte Nova. This project is justified by the high prevalence of anemia in Brazil in this age group, by its consequences and ease prevention. The objective of this study is to propose a prophylaxis protocol of anemia in children in PSF do Centro de Ponte Nova. Therefore, it took active search of these children so that they were evaluated in medical consultation about the need for supplementation. Finally, the responsibility of prescription supplementation belongs to the doctor, with the participation of the interdisciplinary team and the family.
