| Abstract | The teaching of Physics presents certain challenges for secondary school teachers, especially when the topic deals with very abstract concepts. The use of computers and, particularly, the computer simulation has been stimulated as a teaching resource to facilitate student learning, since the visualization of a phenomenon in a graphical environment can provide better understanding. This article presents an analysis of the use of a simulation model discrete event of a fusion nuclear reaction to support learning in high school classes. The use of the simulation model, associated with a previous class led to an increase in the number of correct answers of questions related to the theme of the lesson, especially when questions have increased the degree of difficulty. |
