| Abstract | The international promotion of wine regions has had as an outstanding component the opening of wineries to tourism and the construction of wine routes. The scientific literature has analyzed the economic, sociocultural and territorial implications of wine tourism, revealing the main research fields and, in general, the understanding of a phenomenon that is constantly growing.
