| Abstract | Even though its importance in Brazilian transport matrix, the road transport has been causing great damage to the country in relation to the growing number of accidents that results in loss of efficiency and increased logistics costs, negatively impacting on the competitiveness of our products. This article focuses on presenting a study methodology grounded in the use of tools of EDR (Event Data Recorder) and telemetry systems as possible resources/tools in: reduction of logistics costs associated with transport, risk mitigation claims and processes development for analysis and training of drivers of road transport companies. |
