| Abstract | The objective of this study was to evaluate the Projeto Esperanca. A social project that helps children, adolescents and families struggling to keeping the basic conditions for survival. It was a qualitative research with interviews and focus groups, which included recorded transcriptions with managers, financiers, partners, community leaders, implementers and program beneficiaries. The content analysis performed shows that all target groups surveyed are able to point the results obtained when carrying out the Project in terms of improving the beneficiaries' lives here related to the goals of the project, and other unplanned gains. Despite the achievements, the research also shows thatthe Projeto Esperanca didn't accomplish its entirety the proposed objectives and there are no real signs that such objectives will be achieved at the end of the project in 2009. |
