| Abstract | The present investigation reports pellets of NaCl, KBr and KCl powder used as sensible humidity materials in the fabrication of resistance and capacitive sensors. The sensors were annealed at 60, 80, 100 and 120 ° C for 4 days. After of annealing, the pellets were exposed to humidity in a two pressures humidity generator, in order to measure the variations of resistance and capacitance with the relative humidity. Results show that the capacitance and the resistance increase with the annealing temperature. From the Scanning Electron Microscopic studies, it is observed that as annealing temperature increases the porosity of samples increases. The sensors annealed at 120°C showed higher sensitivity compared with the sensors measured at room temperature. Results show that NaCl has a better scope for developed resistive sensors and KBr for capacitive sensors. |
