Abstract	This theme is developed for Machine Shops Mechanical has been providing its services since 2000 and is currently developing projects and foreign investment. The workshop based processes as set out in the Quality Management Manual of the company. This is detailed in the respective procedures for the improvement of each of the processes at work in the workshop and to guarantee customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in the activities. But, because of which it considers the ecosystem affected by the construction of metal structures as a source of diversity, and worried about the lack of control in the environmental field, has seen fit to implement an Environmental Management System to achieve sustainable, meet the needs of its customers without compromising the natural resources of future generations. This article explains the development of environmental management manual, which discusses the initial state of the workshop, detailing the manufacturing of metal structures, environmental aspects and impacts that they generate and propose alternatives to reduce the environmental impacts by them, in order to achieve an environmentally friendly production, and comply with the provisions of ISO 14001.
