| Abstract | Precision agriculture is an important element of sustainable agriculture. In recent years we have been observing substantial progress in the field of satellite navigation, variable dosing of fertilizers and mapping of crops. The issues that require to be solved involve acquiring of information, in particular used to identify pests for the purposes of local dosing of pesticides in real time. Spectral analysis of electromagnetic radiation reflected from agricultural ecosystem elements is particularly interesting among the methods used to acquire information concerning the character and condition of these elements. The economic profitability of precision agriculture is still hard to prove. |
