| Abstract | This study aimed to determine the relationship between parent and child interpersonal communication with sibling rivalry in middle childhood age. This study was conducted towards 30 children who were middle childhood age through incidental sampling. Data collected by using Interpersonal Communication Inventory and sibling rivalry scale. The relationship between parent and child interpersonal communication with sibling rivalry tested with Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The correlation coefficient obtained is at 0,411 with a significance value of 0,012 (p<0,05), so it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between interpersonal communication between parent and child with sibling rivalry in middle childhood age. |
