| Abstract | espanolEl articulo trata sobre el valor axiologico que las diversas definiciones operativas del ser humano, es decir de su naturaleza, tienen para cada cultura dependiendo de sus formas concretas de vida. El texto hace un resumido repaso a las diversos contenidos que ha adoptado la definicion de “naturaleza humana” desde los inicios de la Ilustracion y a lo largo de la modernidad para, a continuacion, centrarse en el debate de las ultimas decadas del siglo XX y las mas recientes ideas en el siglo XXI. El resultado de este recorrido es la identificacion de concepciones dualistas herederas de corrientes de pensamiento filosofico y teologico del pasado, asi como del debate entre deterministas y culturalistas que actualmente ha derivado en una busqueda de sintesis e incluso la propuesta de una no-naturaleza para el ser humano. EnglishThe article is about the axiological value that several operative definitions of the human being, that is, of its own nature, have for each culture depending on their ways of life. The text explores the various definitions of 'human nature' from the beginnings of the Enlightenment period to our days, and then focuses on the debate during our more recent decades of the 20th century and the modern ideas of our 21st century. The result of this journey is the identification of dualist conceptions that have their origin in the philosophical and theological views of the past, as well as the debate between deterministics and culturalists that have these days brought about a search for synthesis and even proposing the concept of non-nature to describe the existence of the human being. © QUADERNS-E DE L'ICA. |
