| Abstract | Through history, we have sought to promote the need for teachers in the health area to generate strategies, processes and academic management actions. It is necessary to create the need for teachers to have training in education, since through knowledge the need to update curricula, use of new methodologies and the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) as support tools is fostered. teacher; The fundamental purpose is to obtain quality in higher education. The methodology used was qualitative descriptive documentary review of different authors that provide information on health training models, a comparative analysis was made, among the different models used, are the competency-based curriculum, problem-based learning, Miller model and ICT in the area of health. The results of this review allowed us to establish that models of education training for teachers in the health area are based on competency-driven curricula where the three pillars of this model are: knowing how to be, knowing and doing each subject . The description of the training model is framed in the importance of the fusion of models such as: competency-based curriculum, problem-based learning and ICT. Having the Miller's pyramid as its primary base. It also highlights the importance of training teachers in university teaching, in the group of professionals who are dedicated to the performance of teaching in the area of health. |
