| Abstract | The attacks against oil infrastructure specifically in 10 months increased by 38% compared to the year 2013 compared to 2012; likewise attacks on oil pipelines reached 159 cases in the previous year. The consequences of the attacks are carried out by the FARC and ELN are the natural disasters that have been observed in the country because of the oil spill on river leading to death of all living species of flora and fauna that depend waters that lie there to survive. The solution proposed is to establish a management system based on ISO 31000 standard for the prevention and control of risks in physical security by determining the benefits and opportunities that brings this standard for the oil industry. |
