| Abstract | The national energy balance of the year 2005 shows that the final consumption was evaluated to 24,437 Millions Mtoe emphasizes a prevalence of the power consumption of the households sector (that is to say 52,3 % of the final consumption) compared to the industry sectors (23,8 %) and that of transport (23,9 %). In this article, is presented an analysis of the use of the various energy vectors in an individual dwelling in an urban environment. Using a simulation program of the thermal parameters of the building, we identified the energy sources of losses, as well as the possibilities of energy savings for this building. The results obtained are compared with the standards published, particularly for the houses with low energy consumption.
