| Abstract | The project was part of the core of extension of hands given with community: developing educational actions in the municipality of Cabedelo-PB and was designed with the objective of developing skills and competences of the students of the 3rd year of the Integrated Technical Course in Fishing Resources, from the transfer In the discipline of Fish Technology, through training for the community of Cabedelo, regarding the elaboration of fishery products, focusing on the local and sustainable development of the fishery, from the hygiene, manipulation and elaboration of fish products until the recycling of the Organic residues of fish, by Composting, making possible the improvement in the quality of life of the community. The methodology was organized by the training teams of students, who were responsible for the administration of the training offered to the community in the form of workshops. The teams were responsible for the preparation of didactic material, an apostille type, to be used in the training and in the final organized guideline book. During the trainings, socioeconomic and evaluative questionnaires were applied, so that the students' performance was evaluated by the participating community. It was trained 205 people, who already act or who wish to be included in the area of preparation of fish, awakening, the undertaking in the area, taking care with the preservation of the environment. |
