Abstract	The main objective of this research work was to: Describe the characteristics of internal control in the company of the Peruvian commerce sector and the company Asesoría, Inversiones y Servicios N.C.F. E.I.R.L Santa, 2017. The research was descriptive, not experimental-bibliographic-documentary and case-based; for the counting of the information refers to the bibliographic review technique, the interview and the instrument. following results: Respect for specific objective 1: Most of the authors cited Companies in the commerce sector of Peru lack the internal control system, which do not have a manual of functions and functions. Respect to specific objective 2: It has been determined that the company does not have an internal control system, nor an organization manual implemented, nor a risk in its activities that make a journal. Respect to specific objective 3: Most of the elements of comparison of the results of specific objective 1 and 2; they coincide since in the vast majority of commercial companies they do not have internal control systems. Finally, it is concluded that the application of an internal control system helps companies correct errors and regularities that may exist within their daily activities, however, in the case of study, the company does not have an internal control system implemented.
