| Abstract | English) The proposed didactic unit presented in this article arises from the theoretical basis of the derivational morphology as a useful tool for the productive teaching of lexicon for B1 level students learning Spanish as a foreign language in an institutional setting. The teaching design of the lexicon uses vocabulary production strategies from the rules of suffixation. This equips the student with learning strategies that allow him/her to build new vocabulary, facilitate him/her to recognize grammatical categories, and provide him/her a better understanding of the word formation in Spanish. |
