| Abstract | Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have become one of the most widely studied metallic nanomaterials for various applications, such as biosensors, catalysts and nonlinear optical materials [1] particularly because synthesis of AuNPs with good stability, controlled size and narrow size distribution can be easily achieved. In addition, AuNPs exhibit interesting optical properties known as surface plasmon resonance (SPR), changing colors from dark blue to ruby-red, depending on the size of the AuNPs. |
