Abstract	The radiative Bowen ratio - Energy balance method is applied for estimating evapotranspiration at regional scale using the information obtained from satellite images. Albedo and surface radiative temperature are determined from AVHRR-NOAA data. The methodology developed is applicated for a given summer day and the results are compared with the latent heat flux estimationes given by fue surface traditional methodology FAO-24.
