| Abstract | This article will review the constitutional, legal and jurisprudential stance on the treatment of minors who have been recruited or have entered the ranks of the FARC, because of the non-international armed conflict facing Colombia; situation for which the State has had to generate suitable and effective mechanisms to combat that scourge in compliance with signed international conventions, imposed to develop public policies to restore the rights of those victims of the armed conflict and reintegrate them into civil society, providing the tools covered in all the social, technical, and legal disciplines that involve developing the principle of best interests that shelters children and contribute to the fulfilment of the principles of the welfare State of law. |
