| Abstract | This essay seeks to identify how the use of the norm BASC 's tools by the mobile serves companies, reduces the smuggling in Colombia. During this essay will be define the smuggling, its methods and the impact on the cellphone communication market. It will be explaining how the devices are handled during the importation to Colombia and how can the duplication be avoiding to decrees this smuggling mode in the country and its effects on the National economy. If there were a bigger control from the authorities on the suppliers that sell mobile equipment without paying the corresponding taxes for entering these products to the country, would be possible minimize the losses on the taxes that those thousands of devices represent. Since that this kind of ware affects directly the financials of the Nation and the citizens. This is because the no payment of those taxes forces the current administration to raise the taxes on other goods to balance the fiscal deficit. |
