Abstract	O trabalho foi desenvolvido no ano de 2006/2007, em Marechal Cândido Rondon - PR. Os tratamentos consistiram de duas especies de aveias IPR 126 e IPR 61 cultivadas em monocultura ou em consorcio com leguminosas conforme os tratamentos que seguem: amendoim forrageiro; amendoim forrageiro + aveia IPR 126; amendoim forrageiro + aveia IAPAR 61; java; java + aveia IPR126; java + aveia IAPAR 61; estilosantes; estilosantes + aveia IPR 126; estilosantes + aveia IAPAR 61. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados com tres repeticoes. Apos o desenvolvimento das aveias foi realizado um corte de uniformizacao a partir do qual foram realizados os demais cortes com as avaliacoes para a obtencao dos valores de producao de materia seca por hectare (MS/ha). Nao houve efeito significativo dos tratamentos sobre a variavel producao de MS/ha, porem o cultivo de gramineas em consorcio com leguminosas pode ser uma estrategia para melhorar a fertilidade dos solos cultivados com pastagens. Palavras-chave: aveia, consorcio, leguminosa, producao. Abstract: The work was developed in the year of 2006/2007, in Marechal Cândido Rondon - PR. The treatments consisted of two species of oatses IPR 126 and IPR 61 cultivated in monoculture or in consortium with legumes according to the treatments that proceed: peanut forrageiro; peanut forrageiro + oats IPR 126; peanut forrageiro + oats IAPAR 61; java; java + oats IPR126; java + oats IAPAR 61; stylosanthes; stylosanthes + oats IPR 126; stylosanthes + oats IAPAR 61. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with three repetitions. After the development of the oatses an standardization cut was accomplished starting from which the other cuts were accomplished with the evaluations for the obtaining of the values of production of dry matter for hectare (DM/ha). There was not significant effect of the treatments on the variable production of DM/ha, however the cultivation of grassy in consortium with legumes can be a strategy to improve the fertility of the soils cultivated with pastures.
