| Abstract | The Colombian Environmental Seal (SAC) is a distinctive requested voluntarily granted by ICONTEC (Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification) as certification body and yque can boast a product or service that meets the preset requirements for its category. With this instrument seeks to provide consumers verifiable, accurate and not misleading on environmental aspects of products, stimulate environmental improvement of production processes and encourage demand and supply of products less effect on the environment. SAC use is voluntary. This means that producers interested in having their goods carry this label, can apply on their own initiative. Carrying this seal it should be considered by losproductores or service as a business strategy and competitive advantage, and consumers, as a frentea value added products that do not have this tool for environmental differentiation. |
