| Abstract | Currently, the process of globalization has disassembled the nation-state as the horizon of understanding the collective identities and troubles of justice. This is important for critical thinkers, because this affects the criterions by which the capitalism is understood. In this way, the works of Jurgen Habermas and Nancy Fraser are highlighted. My aim in this paper is to argue that the deterritorialization and the internationalization of the public sphere, both in Habermas and Fraser, demand that involved subjects within the public deliberation can undertake a process of transnational integration and a collective understanding in postnational terms. However, Fraser's cosmopolitism is less liable to become a tool of normalization. |
