| Abstract | Taking as its starting point the cases of victims who died after attacks by dogs in Iztapalapa (Federal District, Mexico) in early 2013, this article undertakes a rethinking of the relation between humans and dogs that contrasts those attacks with events that occurred in Mexico City near the end of the period of Spanish government in the late 18 th century. The goal of this exercise in contrast is to posit elements for debate. |
