| Abstract | The determination of pH , acidity or alkalinity , is one of the analytical techniques most commonly performed in quality control laboratories in the chemical, food, beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, in research laboratories, clinical analysis, biotechnology and in controlling of the preservation of the environment. The objective of this work is to develop a system to monitor the pH of aqueous solutions and adjust it by injecting acidic or basic solutions. This system consists of a pH electrode SC09 Sensorglass coupled model for monitoring a pH meter developed and a pH compensating circuit for the temperature variation. The conditioned signal processing is performed using the microprocessor ATMEGA 328P-PU. The instrument calibration is performed at the points of 4.00, 7.00 and 10.00 pH with buffer solutions. After calibrating the meter, passed 17 hours, there was only a −0.2 pH variation in the measurement performed, which ensures the robustness of the calibration system. Through the obtained results, it was found that the pH of the compensation circuit by the temperature variation is negligible due to the low resolution of the equipment. |
