Prof. Dr. Erhan Eroğlu Given the rapidly increasing competition among organizations of today’s business world, the basis on which superiority in competition is based has been changing. Organizations realized that success in competition can be achieved not only by factors such as research and development, modern marketing, technology, but also the basis of success lies in giving priority to human. With the realization of the importance of human, organizations started to be engaged with issues such as organizational culture, organizational communication, job satisfaction and organizational loyalty. The composition of own values of organization and organization-specific organizational culture shape the behaviours of employees, form of working, process of management and relations of organization with its environment. The commonality of successful organizations is the sharing of organizational culture with all employees by an effective organizational communication system and the adoption of organizational culture by employees. Organizational communication provides both the flow of information within the organization and sharing of organizational culture together with employees. Organizational culture becomes meaningful only by an effective organizational communication system. |
