Abstract	The present work has the objective of weaving considerations concerning what comes the they be the alternative ways for the resolution of conflicts (mediation, conciliation and arbitration), as well as to analyze his possible application front to the New Code of Civil Process. It will be analyzed, also, the illustration of the mediator, the abilities, the techniques and the necessary ethical behavior to the acting of the I officiate of mediating. For so much, they will be made comments concerning the current juridical system and of the treatment released to the cases that enter in the Judiciary, as well as about the advantages of the use of alternative methods for the resolution of conflicts, once the New Code of Civil Process brings an exclusive chapter to regulate and to discipline the alternative practices of solution of conflicts.
