Abstract	Early childhood education is one form of education that leads to the growth and development of children. In early childhood, the child has a very high curiosity. Learning media is a supporting medium in teaching and learning process. Along with the development of technology, multimedia can be used as a medium of learning. Multimedia-based learning can improve the quality of student learning and in learning will be more interesting students in providing easy understanding of the material because of its interactive presentation. With this interactive multimedia can also introduce the device of Information and Communication Technology to students by through multimedia-based learning applications. The design of interactive learning media based on this application using animated animals. The design of interactive animation is using software Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Flash. The purpose of this research is done through several stages including concepts, data collection, design, and testing. In addition to designing applications, this research also aims to test the feasibility of application as a medium of learning. Results of interactive animated media based on this application has been implemented in teaching and learning process at RA YASIR Tangerang. With the interactive animation media as a medium of learning, students can recognize animals and can increase student learning interest.
