| Abstract | The Q Fever is a zoonosis broadly distributed in the world; however, in Mexico its prevalence is not known by possible sub-diagnosis, existing few reports of this infective disease in the national medical literature. It has been reported one case of endocarditis to Q Fever, another case of granulomatous hepatitis by the Q Fever, and a investigation of the prevalence of Q Fever in animals. The present case is the first one reported in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, where due to the environmental conditions that are given for the presence of this pathology, a significative prevalence is suspected. |
