| Abstract | espanolLa nocion de espacio en el arte moderno se relaciona, en un momento determinado del siglo XX, con terminos existenciales y metafisicos en base a una connotacion negativa de vacio, entendiendose este, como carestia pero al mismo tiempo como un lugar donde pueden acontecer experiencias y donde la presencia se puede hacer visible colaborando en la construccion de la misma existencia. El espacio habitado por el cuerpo supera los limites de la significacion y transporta a lo real aquellas experiencias que no se muestran y que necesitan de una nueva concepcion y comprension de los fenomenos del mundo de los objetos. En el vacio escultorico de Oteiza el gesto presentara ese discurso a modo de huella magica afirmando radicalmente la existencia de algo en un espacio desocupado EnglishThe notion of space in modern art is linked, at a certain moment of twentieth century, to existential and metaphysical terms with a negative connotation of emptiness. The vacuum can be understood as shortages but it can also be a place where experiences can happen and where the presence can be made visible to collaborate in the construction of the very existence. The space inhabited by the body exceeds the boundaries of meaning and transports the real experiences that are not shown and need a new vision and understanding of the phenomena of the world of objects. In the vacuum Oteiza sculptural gesture that speech presented as a magic mark radically affirming the existence of something in an unoccupied space. |
