Abstract	In the last few decades, factories have found the need of improve their productive processes through the application of new scientific techniques, one of those techniques is the study of times and movements which provides useful information for controlling, following up and improving any type of process; this is accomplished by doing a process sketch, measuring activities, analyzing the situation and finally standardizing operations, all of this should be followed up with continues controls. This tool is considered one of the most valuable in the productive organization, by providing indispensable information for increasing the efficiency and productivity. Inside the factory of GRI, it is consider crucial to create a production platform that uses indicators, process control, and defects controls; that's why the study of times and movements method is used in the polos shirts and round neck shirts assembly lines.
