Abstract	O imbuzeiro (Spondias tuberosa Arruda) e planta nativa da regiao semiarida do Nordeste brasileiro de grande importância para a complementacao da renda dos pequenos agricultores. Entretanto, seu ciclo reprodutivo ainda e pouco estudado, principalmente com relacao a irrigacao. Este trabalho teve como objetivo acompanhar a evolucao do ciclo reprodutivo do imbuzeiro, compreendido entre a emissao do primordio do botao floral e a maturacao do fruto, em funcao da aplicacao de irrigacao suplementar. O estudo foi realizado na Estacao Experimental da Caatinga, Embrapa Semiarido, em 8 plantas. Em cada planta foram escolhidos, ao acaso, em diferentes partes da copa, 100 ramos e etiquetados para anotacoes das ocorrencias fenologicas. Nos dados obtidos foram determinados medias, desvios-padrao e coeficiente de variacao. A aplicacao de irrigacao suplementar em plantas de imbuzeiro pode contribuir significativamente para um aumento na producao de frutos. ABSTRACT The imbu (Spondias tuberosa Arruda) is a native tree of the semi-arid region of the Brazilian Northeast, whose fruit is of great importance for complementing the family income of small farmers. However, its reproductive cycle is still not very well known, especially a function to irrigation supplemental. This work was carried out to help follow the evolution of the reproductive cycle of the imbu, from the emission of the beginning of the floral bud to the ripening of the depending on the application of irrigation. This work was carried the Caatinga Experimental Station, Semiarid Embrapa of 8 plants. In each plant, 100 branches were randomly chosen from different parts of the crown and labelled for phenological data annotation. In the data obtained were determined averages standard deviations and coefficients of variation. The application of supplemental irrigation in imbuzeiro plants can significantly contribute to increase in fruit production. Keywords: Spondias tuberose; phenology; fruits; irrigation supplemental.
