| Abstract | The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between stressors and Burnout syndrome in neonatal intensive care nurses of the Cayetano Heredia hospital 2017. It is a correlational, applied, quantitative and transversal research. The design is not experimental, in a correlational way. The sample is represented by the total population, equivalent to 47 nursing nurses of the neonatal intensive care service of the Cayetano Heredia hospital. For data collection, two instruments were used to measure each of the variables. These instruments consisted of two Likert questionnaires. The first questionnaire that measured the labor stress factors, presents 36 items, with three alternatives: little stressful, moderately stressful and highly stressful. Also, the second questionnaire measured the level of Burnout syndrome, presenting 22 items divided into three dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of personal fulfillment, which presented seven alternatives: Never, rarely a year, once a month, a few times a month, once a week, a few times a week, always. When analyzing data to determine the degree of relationship between occupational stressors and Burnout syndrome, the Spearman correlation coefficient was equal to 0.759, which concludes that there is a high correlation between both variables. |
