Abstract	The present article analyzes the results obtained in the research project which in Mexico is titled: “The masculinity crisis and the labor crisis. The cases of Mexico and Argentina”. Based on the empirical findings of the studies, it develops the necessary theoretical considerations to enable the evaluation of the cases presented therein. It also takes into account the research of colleagues that have been participating in the international project since 2003. It is divided into four parts. The first part contains some ideas on subjectivity from a gender perspective.
