| Abstract | In this paper, the authors attempt to elucidate the terminological hotchpotch that plagues the still nascent World of e-commerce. For jurists, the proliferation of buzzwords and acronyms connected to e-business can be problematic in a sense that it makes it difficult to establish the proper place of such technologies in the contractual relationship that arises between the participants to a web or other IT based transaction. Having somewhat dissipated this cloud of confusion, the authors address the judicial labelling of the computer intermediaries and tools which could potentially be used by the parties to a computer contract. |
