Its geographic location Colombia is a very lucky country, this should generate a steady development in the transport of goods , with the help of its major seaports as Cartagena , Santa Marta and Buenaventura. As we know, the Colombian port system for administration is divided between the State and the Private Sector , through institutions like the port companies , the general superintendence of ports and companies operating in the ports, which can generate good results and efficiency in its operations and technology. What is desired is to establish contacts with authorities and port community in order to detect or exchange information to receive an appropriate level of security within ports , where the provision of a third audit in contamination of goods for goods . Following ceremonial security actions standardized commodity inspection and port security on the port community coordination to prevent the transport of goods contaminated drugs, currency , illegal migrants and weapons controls are generated. It is important to implement a safety culture to be viewed not affected operations at ports so you can detect any threats , avoiding sanctions on companies that may harm employees or suppliers as well as customers to ports.
