Numerous online courses and pedagogical sites are based on the false premise that students will read the materials presented online. Using as an example a concrete and well-documented case of disappointments (Halloy, Kestemont, Millor, & Nar- done, 2003), this article explodes the myth of the paperless schoolbag using numerous works from the fields of ergonomics and cognitive psychology. |
