| Abstract | A multifunctional Schiff base fluorescence sensor (receptor L) was prepared and its metal ion sensing properties were investigated. Receptor L exhibited fluorescence and colorimetric responses toward Hg2+, Cu2+ and Co2+ with different color changes. Moreover, receptor L can be used for selective sensing of Hg2+, Cu2+ and Co2+ based on the distinct color changes in the real sample. |
