| Abstract | Flight controller software is fundamental part of Unmanned Air Vehicle. It is responsible for acquisition and processing of sensor data, attitude estimation, parsing GPS data and vehicle stabilization. Flight control software should handle communication with ground control station (GCS), that includes command and control of the aerial vehicle and periodic telemetry indicating the vehicles status. This paper presents a comprehensive procedure on developing flight controller software of a fixed wing UAV. Primary focus is to develop software that illustrates a real-time scenario and capability of flexible reconfiguration. As a result software is developed under Free-RTOS.
