Abstract	En el presente articulo se expone el resultado obtenido en la aplicacion del metodo estudio de casos a una muestra de cuatro escolares sordociegos. Este metodo permitio determinar regularidades teoricas y practicas a partir de la aplicacion coherente desde sus etapas de instrumentos y tecnicas para la recopilacion y evaluacion de los resultados logrados en la investigacion. Para su comprension se parte de una fundamentacion teorica que refleja la concepcion asumida por la autora y se ejemplifica a traves de los cuatro casos estudiados la utilizacion del metodo y las regularidades teoricas y practicas que se determinaron para el proceso de integracion social de estos escolares. PALABRAS CLAVE: metodo estudio de casos, regularidades, sordociego. THE CASE STUDY METHOD. AN ALTERNATIVE TO DETERMINE THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL REGULARITIES IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ABSTRACT In this article, it is shown the results gotten through the application of the case study method in a sample of four school children deaf and blind. This method allowed the determination of theoretical and practical regularities, from the coherent application of tools and techniques in different periods for the gathering and evaluation of the results gotten in the investigation. To understand it, it begins with the theoretical budget which portrays the conception of the author and it is exemplified through four cases studied and the theoretical and practical regularities which were determined for the social integration of those school children.
