| Abstract | Objective: Identify the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in the administrative officials of the municipality of Chia from 2009 to 2011. Methods : We have performed a quantitative, descriptive retrospective and transversal study to identify cases of musculoskeletal disorder in a period of time between years 2009-2011, through the creation of a database, result of the collection of information on medical disabilities, database from the town hall of Chia and an occupational health matrix , from which the record was made in a matrix of Microsoft Excel, including information as: identification number, gender, age, antiquity, department, absence days, CIE10 code, diagnosis, body part affected, type of disease and social security, with the purpose of identify the prevalence of MSD, which as described above are common in administrative workers. Results: we show that the entire population of the Municipality of Chia who were unable to work, 11% is diagnosed with some type of DME, being Lumbago radiculopathy and most common, being the trunk body segment most affected with 80%, the number of women with DME prevailed on the number of men doing administrative work, finally the year with the highest incidence of DME was medical disabilities by 2011. |
