Abstract	95/3(2016) Five sewage sludges collected from Polish municipal wastewater treatment plants were studied for presence of parabens p-HOC6H4COOR (I) (R = Me, Et, Pr, CH2Ph) after extn. with a Me2CO/MeOH. The total content of I reached 10.43 ng/g dry mass. The I (R = Me) showed the highest content in all sludges studied (2.31–2.83 ng/g dry mass). The I (R = CH2Ph) showed the lowest content in the sludges. A sludge from a dairy wastewater treatment plant was studied for comparison. The total content of I was 9.81 ng/g dry mass.
