| Abstract | This paper compares the use of Communication and Information Technologies (CIT) in the contexts of language teaching classes in the regions of the North and Southeast of Brazil. To this end, a complex of voices is constructed, based on theoretical discourse(s) and on the teaching, scientific, and academic experience of the authors of this paper. From the analysis of these voices, it can be concluded that in the Brazilian regions studied the factor of time is one of the main barriers that need to be overcome concerning the use of CIT in classroom practices and in ongoing teacher development. |
