Abstract	In this paper deals with the definition of the environmental determinants for plans of POT Territorial ordering of the municipalities in the area of jurisdiction of the Corporación Autónoma Regional CORPOCESAR, in accordance with the guidelines given by the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development MAVDT, whose legal basis is the Political Constitution of 1991 Colombia and the Law 388 of 1997, to establish the environmental determinants are standards of higher hierarchy, in their own fields of competence, therefore, municipal is of obligatory compliance, its incorporation in the elaboration and adoption of the POT. For this purpose, identify the environmental determinants according to the normative content existing in law 99 of 1993 General Environmental Law, Decree 097 2006 expedition of urban development licenses in rural soil and other provisions, Decree 3600 of 2007 management of rural land and development of urban actions of fragmentation and building in this type of soil and other provisions and the 4066 Decree of 2008 which modifies articles 1 °, 9 °, 10, 11, 14, 17,18 and 19 of Decree 3600 in 2007 and gives other provisions. The definition of environmental determinants is developed through processes of socialization and concertation between the technical team of the University of Córdoba, of CORPOCESAR and Secretaries of municipal planning.
