| Abstract | The components of the rate of vibrational relaxation of the laser transition at the wavelength 715 ~m of the CH3Br molecule are determined by studying the transient characteristics in a range of pressures and subsequent analysis of results with the use of a model of the laser. Taking into account the V-V interaction of the pumped vibrational state with the excited vibrational states in the model employed makes it possible to determine the rate of vibrational relaxa4zion from the experimental values of the rates of decay of the components of the transition process. |
