| Abstract | The objective of the research was to assess whether the measures of social anomie, psychological anomie, and alienation are predictive of dissocial behavior. The sample consisted of 499 students of different grades in a public middle school in Northwestern Mexico. The results showed that only psychological anomie and alienation are predictors of anti-social behavior. It can be concluded that a negative assessment of the rules imposed by society has an impact on the behaviors which challenge the established order. |
